Juliet Anderson Top Porn Star

The "broad," of course, is figurative; if there's one thing Juliet Anderson isn't, it's broad in the beam. She keeps herself physically fit, and between that and "good genes, thanks to my mother and father," she's in great shape, as attendees at the Free Speech Coalition's Night of the Stars could plainly see.

But at 63, the former "Aunt Peg" is a woman with a mission.

"I'm basically a sex educator," Anderson declares. "I teach people how to incorporate sexual and sensual feelings that they have, that are natural in their bodies, into their lives."

It's a mission she undertakes with gusto, whether it's through her "Tender Loving Touch" therapy sessions, a concept she developed and practices on her various clients, or her latest video, Ageless Desire, which is available through her Website and at selected retailers. And knowing Anderson, it's not strange that her two projects mix well together.

"I recently completed a very successful and appreciated hour-length video called Ageless Desire - Great Sex For Couples Over 50," Anderson explains. "It features three real-life couples in real situations. Each couple created their own scenario, so it's real; it's not scripted. Everyone's over 50. I'm in one of them, and we just made it up as we went. I'm with a partner I've known since 1982, Max, and I give him a 'hubby tune-up.' It's like what you do with your car: Regularly scheduled maintenance. You bring the car in and you check the points and the plugs and you change the oil and the filter and you send them home purring.

"Max and I see each other once every month or two months, sometimes just for lunch at a Chinese restaurant and other times, I put on a real sexy outfit and we'll go dancing," she continues. "It's really beautiful to see us together, but he'd never been in front of a camera before - and that was the whole idea: I wanted all of the people in my video to feel comfortable, so the camera is unobtrusive, and they can be as natural as possible."

One of the reasons Anderson made the feature is because she loves entertaining, especially if it's entertainment with a sex-positive message. And she's been delivering that message for nearly a quarter of a century, ever since her debut in Alex de Renzy's Pretty Peaches just after her 40th birthday, and even during a series of one-woman stage shows in the '80s.

"I have a whole cast of characters that I created, that I scripted, that lasted for 20 minutes or a half hour," she recalls. "I was Helen the Housewife, Suzie the Secretary, Chris the Cook, Cassie the Carpenter, and they all had stories. The whole idea was to show that a woman who's assumed to be straight could be your nurse, a teacher, working in your office, a woman who stays at home and takes care of the house and has kids, and that underneath, she just could be a very sexual woman. My favorite is Elaine the Executive; I walk through the audience with a business suit on and heels and a briefcase, and you have the right music going on and she winds up stripping out of her suit, and eventually dresses in sexy clothes." Anderson confides that she'd love to recreate her stage shows.

"I've still got all my old scripts and music; all I need is a venue," she says.

But until that happens, the "old" Juliet will still be accessible to her legions of fans, thanks to the film and video vaults at the Bay Area's Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality.

"Thanks to the people at the Institute, I have access to all of the 'Aunt Peg' videos; not only the three compilations that Swedish Erotica put together - Aunt Peg, Aunt Peg's Fulfillment and Aunt Peg Goes To Hollywood - but all the other ones," Anderson relates. "I don't know how many, but every single 'Aunt Peg' loop, I was able to view at the Institute.
